What the Africa Climate Summit focused onThe 54-nation continent is acutely vulnerable to the growing impacts of climate change. Through the declaration, the leaders acknowledged that climate change is the single greatest challenge facing humanity and the single biggest threat to all life on Earth. As a call to action, the African leaders called upon world leaders to appreciate that decarbonising the global economy is also an opportunity to contribute to equality and shared prosperity.
