The officials involved in the raid said they did not find illegal mining going on in the area. Illegal mining goes on unabated in Ghaggar river in the area,” said Dharampal Singh, a Derabassi resident. The DC formed five flying squads in the district to carry out surprise raids in the areas affected by illegal mining.
