Bangladesh Ikebana Association that hosted the event on Friday with the support of the Japanese embassy also distributed certificates among the participants of a training course on Ikebana. Head of cultural affairs of the Japan embassy Machiko Yamamura, Afreen Taposh, wife of local MP Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Bangladesh Ikebana Association’s Chief Patron Masud Karim and President Shahinur Baby were present, among others.
