The commission gave the decision on Saturday. Progotishil Ganatantrik Party candidate Sabbir Ahmed from the same constituency, filed the appeal against Ershad, citing lack of information and fraud as the reason. According to Sabbir, Ershad did not show his BA degree certificate and hid information about a large sum of money which Sabbir claims Ershad has saved abroad. The general election will take place on December 30.
