Other inmates are said to have 'clapped and cheered' after the alleged assault on the Soham child murderer in the workshop of the County Durham prison. The inmate who attacked Huntley is said to have shouted "I've done it", just moments after he battered him with a metal pole. Speaking to The Sun about the attack, an inside source said: "It was total chaos, and a pretty horrific scene. This isn't the first time that Huntley has been attacked while in prison, as he was initially housed in HMP Wakefield, and scalded with boiling water in September of 2005, so he was moved to HMP Frankland in 2008.
