Delhi Capitals have announced that South Africa pacer Anrich Nortje will replace England seamer Chris Woakes in the side for IPL 2020 which will begin in the UAE from September. 1.5 crore by Delhi Capitals in 2019, decided to withdraw as he wanted to stay fit for international duties. In a press release issued by the Delhi Capitals side, Nortje spoke about how excited he was and hoped his time in the side will be a big learning curve for him. His ability to bowl quickly and accurately was hailed as exciting and he was expected to be a force in the Kolkata Knight Riders set-up. Delhi Capitals will be bidding to break their IPL jinx and win the title for the first time after having made the knock-outs in the last edition.
