Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI president who came to the UAE last week, made a visit to the Sharjah cricket stadium to monitor the progress of the venue ahead of IPL 2020. The IPL 2020 will start on September 19 with Mumbai Indians taking on the Chennai Super Kings in Abu Dhabi. Sharjah will host it’s first IPL match on September 23 between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. Chennai Super Kings was the last team to begin training as they finally stepped on the field after their third round of COVID-19 tests.
