The Inspector General of Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Sarfraz Ali announced to open the Mand Border in the best interest of the local people. He visited the Mand area of Kech and chaired a jirga on regional issues. The IG FC said that they are well aware of the problems in the area and will play their role in resolving these issues. The IG FC also informed the people of the area that any kind of prohibited items would be confiscated. Towards the end of the jirga, the IG FC paid homage to political and social figure Fida Hakeem Rind.
