IED kills 3 Bangladeshi UN peacekeepers in Mali

Three Bangladeshi UN peacekeepers have been killed, and four others injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in Mali on Sunday. According to the ISPR press release, Bangladeshi UN peacekeepers engaged a group of terrorists and drove them back last Saturday. However, the criminals ambushed the peacekeepers as they were returning to the UN camp on Sunday. The peacekeepers successfully defended themselves, but triggered an IED buried in the road. The resulting explosion left three dead, and injured four peacekeepers.
