IEBC's dilemma in presidential petition

Kenya’s history of Presidential election petitions is short, only going as far back as 1992 — the year that marked the return of political pluralism. Since then, Presidential elections have been disputed, save for 2002. When disputes arise from Presidential elections, the Electoral Management Body is often found at a crossroads. My take is that the IEBC counsel should as much as possible acknowledge the flows in the concluded presidential election, where they are identified and endeavour to make corrections in future. The IEBC counsel, while acknowledging such a gesture from Jubilee, should in equal measure distance itself from being seen as basking in it.
