Leonor “Leni” Robredo on Saturday encouraged information and communication technology experts to use the technological advancement to help poor Filipinos. Robredo, an advocate of the poor, delivered a keynote speech during the 10th National Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Confederation of Philippines Summit in Naga City. The summit gathered the country’s ICT community leaders such as government officials, academe, and organizations working toward ICT innovation and collaboration. The Vice President said that ICT industry leaders and members should put to good use the technological advancement and look for solutions to improve the lives of the poor.
