There have been calls from a lot of quarters more especially those who disagree with how national team call ups are done that coach's should explain reasons for handing out certain call-ups and reasons behind leaving certain players out. He said that the pool of talents for the national team is so big that we can't give call ups to only a handful of people. "The national team is not like a club side where you have like only 25 players with the national team the talent pool to call is huge compared to a club side." "Most of the time we try to maintain the respect players have for us but maybe after a game or before a game a press conference can be done but not for call ups."
