According to Prince George Koffie, coach of Great Olympics, he was yet to work with Dong Bortey since taking over the club last month, ruling him out of his plans. “When I came to the team I never met Dong Bortey. Meanwhile, a Director of Olympics, Oloboi Commodore, has refused to confirm whether the club indeed offered Dong Bortey any financial package during his signing. Mr Commodore attributed Dong Bortey’s inability to feature for the club to his fitness rather than a financial tussle with Olympics.
