Multiple award winning artist Daddy Owen cancelled his much hyped show scheduled for last Saturday courtesy of Kenya Commercial Bank Safari Rally Concert alleging harassment by the event director John Kamau. After hyping the event on his wall for days on end Daddy Owen shocked many of his fans when on the day of the concert he posted in his wall saying that he would not perform at the event. “It’s unfortunate I will not be performing at the KCB SafariRally event of which I was one of the musicians lined up for the show owing to the fact that I have been embarrassed and harassed by their event director John Kamau,” he said. The musician is scheduled for another huge gig this weekend at Kerugoya during which he promises his fans the best of entertainment. One of the audience at the SafariRally event posted: “Sorry but we rally fans are not your type of audience.”To which Daddy Owen responded that everyone is entitled to their opinion and that he has no hard feelings towards such kind of people.
