The controversial lawyer, who claimed he survived only on coconut water during the period, says he’s looking more handsome at the end of the fasting exercise. Soon after President John Mahama announced a remission for the jailed Montie 3 contemnors, Salifu Maase, Alistair Nelson and Godwin Gunn who were sentenced to four months imprisonment for scandalizing the Supreme Court, Dr Maurice Ampaw declared a week hunger strike in protest of the President’s move. “I have ended my hunger strike successfully. My doctors advised me to take in coconut water which has nutrients that keeps the body well.
