It’s making me feel so put out and envious – I feel like I’m missing out on watching my only grandchild grow up. I feel as if I’m being treated unfairly. I don’t think for one minute your son is trying to make you feel left out. Tell them they can take a few hours out for themselves while you take your granddaughter to the park or something? And remember, because she sees her other grandparents all the time, a visit from you will be a real treat.
