While three members on the four-man committee retained their roles, Lawyer Duah Adonteng was replaced by Samuel Osei Kuffour. Before the confirmation, the learned lawyer had indicated in media interviews that Dr Amoah broke the news to him and he suspected the president had a hand in that unfortunate FIFA decision. Dr Amoah questioned why his former colleague would accuse others when the world sanctioning body had laid its laws right from the formation of the committee. "It is an unfortunate allegation but I can't answer any questions to that issue because I believe FIFA is the right body to do the explanation.
