Attram and Affum both played for Smouha Sporting Club in Egypt but the two had to part ways after Attram left for Saudi Arabia whiles Affum moved to Switzerland. Speaking to Ghanaweb on the Sports Check show, Attram said he sheds tears at the thought of Afum because he was at his peak when Liverpool’s striker, Mohammed Salah was struggling to make a name for himself in Egypt. “I sit down here and cry that Mohamed Salah was able to make it to the top and not Samuel Afum,” Godwin Attram said. Whenever he’s on holidays he comes to me alright and I say Affum have you trained but he would say, I have trained already.
