I don’t want to let people down – but the cost of attending various bashes is affecting our ability to save for a houseOver the next year, a lot of my close friends are getting married, turning 30 or having hen parties. I live a long way from most of my friends and while the events themselves are expensive, nobody seems to appreciate that so is the travel. (My partner and I are trying to save for a house.)
