A man has told the court that he accidentally bit off the tip of his wife’s nose in a fit of anger, maintaining that the bodily injury he inflicted on her was unintentional. The prosecutor, Inspector Nurudeen Thomas, told the court that the accused committed the offences on January 9 at the couple’s resident. He told the court that the husband, who owns a a boutique in front of their house, started complaining about his wife’s new manner of dressing to work. The accused, who pleaded guilty to the charge of assault, however, said he was not guilty to the charge of domestic violence. He told the court that he mistakenly bit off his wife’s nose in anger.
