more-inOfficials of the Income Tax Department conducted a search at the rice mill owned by the family of former DMK Minister K.N. Nehru at Poovalur village, near Lalgudi, on Tuesday. Teams of officials descended on the mill in the evening to carry out the operation. Eyewitnesses said the gates of the rice mill were closed the moment I-T department officials entered the premises. Mr. Nehru, who came there when the search was on, left after some time without entering the premises.
