Sasikala the depositions of 22 witnesses and allowed her to cross-examine them later. In doing so, the Commission partly allowed Sasikala’s January 5 application and a January 12 memo filed before it. Sasikala had requested that the Commission provide evidence against her that had been supplied by witnesses. Tuesday’s order would only provide Sasikala with the depositions of 22 witnesses and excludes the affidavits – submitted by some of them – and evidence, if any. Rejecting it, Justice Arumughaswamy asked him to start examining the 22 witnesses who have completed deposing before the Commission.
