The outspoken member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) made the comment while reacting to claims that the former President caused the defeat of NDC in last year’s elections. The newspaper said, according to Prof Botchwey, “To be honest, some party supporters we spoke to said that the former president didn’t handle things well. Some talked about the cancellation of trainee nurses’ allowance”.
