Four months went by and I hadn’t heard anything, so I called the Breast Clinic. They didn’t know how much of my breast they would have to remove. He said I’d know it was working when I heard my own voice. The only thing that’s different is that my right breast grew like any expectant mother’s would, but my left breast didn’t. But just like the one on my breast, it’ll be a physical reminder of what I overcame — I survived cancer and gave birth to a beautiful baby.
