Hyderabad connects with Colombo

The GMR-led Hyderabad International Airport announced on Tuesday that from Wednesday, July 12, Sri Lankan Airlines will start operations out of here with non-stop services to Colombo four days a week. With Sri Lanka offering e-Visa for Indians, travel will be hassle-free and those from here and nearby regions will now get a chance to soak in the Sri Lankan beaches and the island country’s culture, a press release said. The airline would use its fleet of A 320 aircraft to make the two-hour flights, non-stop, between Hyderabad and Colombo. Kishore said, “We are happy to add Sri Lanka to our ever-expanding portfolio of international connections. The services will help passengers from 13 catchment cities of the South and Central region access direct connectivity to Sri Lanka.”
