Husam Musa confirms son's remand in drug probe - Nation


PETALING JAYA: Parti Amanah Negara vice-president Datuk Husam Musa confirmed that his son was remanded for drug possession, but says he has not received any information from the police. Husam said he only knew that his son, Ahmad Syafi, was remanded from a news report that he received via WhatsApp. "Until now, the police have not sent me a formal report about my son's arrest," Husam said in a statement on Sunday (Nov 19) night. "A neighbour told me that my son was arrested yesterday afternoon by a group of men," said Husam, who is Salor assemblyman. It was reported that a 29-year-old son of an assemblyman was arrested after being caught with 200 methamphetamine pills on Saturday (Nov 18).
