KUALA LUMPUR: Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani won their first title of the season following a series of poor results at the Malaysia International Challenge in Pasir Gudang on Sunday. Second seeds Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin took just 32 minutes to record a 21-19, 21-12 win over compatriots Shia Chun Kang-Tan Wee Gieen in the men’s doubles final. The win is a huge motivation for the World No 49 pair who were struggling with form after reaching the final of the Malaysia Masters in January. “We were having issues after the Malaysia Masters, but we continued to work hard in training. In the mixed doubles final, Malaysia’s K. Yogendran and India’s Prajakta Sawant were defeated 21-10, 24-22 by Japan’s Hiroki Okamura-Naru Shinoya .
