Just a day after the completion of Huruma rescue mission at the scene of collapsed building, the rescue mission is now headed to the Nairobi River. The river mission is being undertaken by volunteers from the Red Cross and the government Disaster Management department. The rescue team has now swung into action at the Nairobi River with the hope of recovering and accounting for the missing persons. So far, the death toll has reached 51 as per records from the Kenya Red cross. The tragedy scene at the collapsed Huruma building was on Sunday opened to the public after ten days of tight security surveillance by the National Youth service and the police.
