A Nairobi businessman has filed an affidavit implicating Court of Appeal judge Mohamed Warsame in a row over the ownership of Nairobi's Cianda mall. The affidavit claims Warsame was one of the beneficiaries and that he was granted stakes through his wife Farliya Ahmed. It states that the shares of Gravet company, an associate of Guled Housing company, were almost transferred to third parties. The row over the shareholding of LR numbers 209/798 and 209/6497, which the two companies acquired jointly, started on July 1, 2008. Ibrahim Surrow claimed in his submissions that the judge is one of the people fueling the row, to take over the property at the junction of Mfangano and Ronald Ngala streets.
