Photo: Tom KitchinThe 18th anniversary of the Otago Central Rail Trail opening was celebrated this year with the Rail Trail Duathlon over the weekend. About 240 people competed in the duathlon along the cycle trail from Clyde to Middlemarch. The event has been held on the third weekend of February every year since 2000, when the cycle trail was opened. Competitors chose to compete in the duathlon as teams or individuals, running and cycling the 150km long trail.
