Policehour.co.uk reported that a number of schools had pulled their shutters down and locked their gates in the wake of the threat. "There is nothing within the email that names a specific school and the same email has also been sent to other schools throughout London. A police spokeswoman said: "Police are investigating emails sent to a number schools in the West Midlands this morning making threats. Staffordshre Police said: This morning we received a number of calls from schools across the county concerning a malicious email. The emails were not isolated to the county’s schools and are believed to have been sent to schools across the country.
