Currently, over 80% of scholarship recipients usually come from schools designated as higher decile. Supplied The new scholarship aims to be a part of the wider dialogue and the Government’s focus on increasing equity in education. Although there were students who experienced disparities across schools, data showed students in lower decile schools “experienced other sorts of barriers and constraints”.
