(Environment Canada)Environment Canada has weather statements or warnings in effect for most areas of Newfoundland Tuesday, saying unseasonably strong winds are expected, which could cause damage to property. In addition to securing outdoor furniture, Environment Canada is also advising that the winds may cause tree branches to break, and are asking people to avoid wooded areas until the system passes.
