Now, I am reflecting on the remarkable longevity of Hopkins, Moore and Foreman in the sport to also reflect on whether Pacquiao can fight well into his 40s. At 30 years old and still undefeated at 29-0 with 22 knockouts, Thurman presents a real challenge for Pacquiao. So how many more years can Pacquiao fight if we take into account his stoppage win over Lucas Matthysse in July last year and his decision victory over Adrien Broner two weekends back? I must admit it that I hate to see Pacquiao lose badly to one of the top dogs from the welterweight ranks. And I even stated in my column before the Broner fight that win or lose, Pacquiao consider retiring from the game.
