The wind of change reportedly began after AKM Jahidul Hasan Jahid was elected as chairman of the upazila parishad. Visiting the site, it was seen that a sculpture of Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was set up inside the upazila parishad grounds. It was learnt that the upazila administration and upazila parishad have taken a total of 11 initiatives marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. “Anyone who comes to the upazila parishad premises will feel good,” added the UNO.
