But today marked the arrival of a new patch, and what appears to be a new exotic quest for Outbreak Prime, the famed pulse rifle from Destiny 1, Rise of Iron era. I saw a bunch of datamined stuff earlier about coming Year 2 exotic catalysts, and there was one for Outbreak Prime. The device you get, the Fallen Transponder, has six nodes all linking toward the middle. The original Outbreak Prime quest from Rise of Iron was the most complicated exotic questline, or really any questline, in Destiny history, at least until the more or less unsovable Niobe Labs.
