OAKLAND — When the Rangers called up veteran Matt Moore in mid-April, the bullpen was a mess. Moore, a former All-Star starting pitcher turned non-roster invitee this season, was called up from Triple-A Round Rock and asked to help calm the waters. He’s given up five earned runs in 22.1 innings pitched, and three of those runs came in one inning. Take Friday’s game, for example. He’s earned himself that position, Woodward said, and on Friday a high-lever situation found him anyways.
