It is feared that Kenya will experience an unprecedented surge in cases of Covid-19 in the next few weeks following the relaxation of containment measures. In Kenya like other developing, most people move to rural areas upon retiring from active employment. Consequently, a majority of the elderly population live in rural areas. Most of the rural areas are known to have dilapidated healthcare infrastructure. Was it an opportunity to have Nairobi residents who have lost livelihoods move to the rural areas?
