After starting her show on a local 5,000 watt New Jersey radio station in early 2009, Herrmann moved to AM970 The Answer in November, 2009, where her program aired until October 2013. At that time, an AM970 employee, who was a fan of the show, moved to WOR and helped Herrmann bring the show there. Many people don’t realize Herrmann operates as a one-woman business—which she started after 17 years spent mostly focused on raising a family. In November 2010, Herrmann launched a companion magazine to the radio show, where she features articles by some of the high-profile guests on her show. I had a chance to talk with Herrmann about her journey after she interviewed me for her radio show.
