Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has detailed how he acquired his current Sh80 million home. Gachagua said that he was saving his money in a Sacco and took a loan of Sh850,000. Without the house, the land is Sh80 million. He encouraged Kenyans to utilise saccos in saving money for future use. President William Ruto encouraged saving saying that the government is planning to support cooperatives to realise its goals.
