JOHOR BARU: The Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry will refine its standard guidelines on building safety in the next few months. "The ministry will put forth a proposal paper to make these standard guidelines on building safety better. "These standard guidelines include fire safety and a building's compliance to safety standards. Halimah said the existing standard guidelines for building safety involves multiple agencies. She said the standard guidelines also applied to private schools, irregardless of it being religious or vernacular schools.
