JOHOR BARU: A 42-year-old housewife pleaded not guilty at a magistrate's court here to eight counts of conning victims to apply for houses under the Johor Affordable Homes Scheme (RMMJ) last year. Hafizah Ibrahim claimed trial when the charge sheets were read to her before magistrate Noor Aisyah Ahmad on Monday. She allegedly lured seven individuals to transfer money to her personal bank account for helping them to purchase houses in October last year. The court set bail of RM15,000 for Hafizah and set July 3 for the mention of the case. Deputy Public Prosecutor Muhammad Syafiq Mohd Ghazali prosecuted the case while Iskandar Shah Ibrahim represented the accused.
