Houses burn as occupants celebrate Christmas DayMIRI SCHROETER/STUFF A house fire on Parewanui Road, Bulls, on Christmas Day. Two houses have been extensively damaged in Christmas Day fires in Manawatū and Horowhenua. A house in Levin, and another home in Bulls, both caught fire while their occupants were out on Christmas Day. Firefighters were called to a fire at a Parewanui Rd house in Bulls, Manawatū, about 1pm. Earlier in the day, firefighters attended a fire at a Kawiu Rd home near Patikei Rd, in Levin, about 9.30am on Monday.
