Good morning: There is further evidence this morning of the extraordinary strength of the housing market with half-year results from Vistry Group, the housebuilder previously known as Bovis Homes. Alongside the results Vistry has reported a “strong start” to the second half of its financial year, with 0.73 sales per active site per week, 20 per cent ahead of the same period last year. “We have seen positive sales trends since early May, with consumer interest higher than at any time in recent years,” said Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive.
