LEXIS Suites Penang has come on board as a sponsor for Star FitForLife Penang Fun Run 2017 for the first time. The hotel is sponsoring 3,000 bottles of drinking water and 3,000 red eco-bags worth RM13,500. General manager Ben Ho said the hotel is glad to support the event because “it encourages Penangites to be more health-conscious and practice healthy habits in their everyday lives”. “We’re thinking of participating in the run ourselves next year and will encourage our staff to join,” he said after handing over the sponsorship to Star Media Group senior advertisement representative Wong Mei Choo at the hotel in Teluk Kumbar, Penang, yesterday. The run on Sunday begins at SPICE Arena in Relau at 7.30am.
