The Harbourview in Wan Chai said today six workers who had served a 29-year-old man confirmed with the coronavirus yesterday have been placed in paid self-isolation at home for 14 days. The patient left Hong Kong on March 5 for Germany, visited Austria on March 7, and returned to Germany on March 11, the day he developed a cough. He arrived in Hong Kong on March 13 and had been staying alone at the hotel. He was admitted at the Ruttonjee Hospital on Saturday. The workers are not considered close contacts as they and the patient wore face masks and the time of interaction was not more than five minutes, the hotel said.
