LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – A total of 7,704 individuals in the province were listed as Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), local authorities said. Health officials, however, assured the public that the province remains free of the respiratory disease. ADVERTISEMENTThe number of PUMs soared after Pangasinense students returned home after Metro Manila was placed under community quarantine. A barangay health emergency response team was also activated to monitor the PUMs who are advised to undergo home quarantine for 14 days. Records from the local health office showed at least 16 from the list of PUMs had already completed their 14-day quarantine period.
