While those with minor injuries were taken to Sapna Nursing Home nearby, more serious injuries and bodies were taken to Rajawadi and Shanti Niketan. Dr. Vidya Thakur, Chief Medical Officer, Rajawadi Hospital, said “People have suffered blunt traumas. One is a woman with a severe head injury, another woman has multiple injuries and fractures. A firefighter has a major chest infection from gas leakage.”Dr. Priyanka Lokhande, Shantiniketan Hospital, said, “The society residents have been supportive by managing the crowd and making sure we could do our jobs smoothly.
