Beryl Carr said her only two social events of the last year were getting her jabs. She was one of the longest serving volunteers at Ealing Hospital in west London, but had to stop helping out due to the threat of the coronavirus outbreak. But she has now made a welcome return after her year's enforced absence, the hospital said yesterday.
