more-inThe family of 24-year-old photographer Ankit Saxena, who was allegedly murdered by his girlfriend’s family in west Delhi’s Raghubir Nagar nearly five months ago, organised an iftar party on Sunday. The party was organised under the banner of the Ankit Saxena Trust at the home of the deceased. When the idea to organise an iftar party was presented before the the locality, I was amazed to see people from other communities came forward to help with the arrangements,” said Ankit’s father Yashpal Saxena. Ankit was allegedly murdered by his girlfriend’s family a few metres from his house on February 1. The iftar party, attended by people from all communities, was organised by Ankit’s friends and family members.
